1935.08.04 - Criação da Emissora Nacional de Radiodifusão (EN). Emissão regular de rádio; Passou posteriormente (1976) a Radiodifusão Portuguesa (RDP).

1957.03.07 - Criação da Radiotelevisão Portuguesa (RTP), Emissão televisiva; 

2003 - Fusão das entidades, RDP e RDP, criando a Rádio e Televisão de Portugal que mantém a sigla RTP.
